Experience:
Prerequisite of our Instructional Pottery Workshop, or equivalent experience from another studio, plus a brief studio tour
Hours:
First come-first served, no reservations
mon/thurs/fri 12 pm – 7 pm
tues/wed 3 pm – 7 pm
weekends 10 am – 4 pm
8 wheels designated for open studio
Cost:
Weekdays: $12 per hour
Weekends: $16 per hour
(includes use of wheels, tools, glazes and firing)
Clay can be purchased for $10 per 5 lb bag; we usually stock between 5 and 10 mid-fire clay bodies
*All clay used in open studio must be purchased from us, so we can be sure it’s the right type/cone for firing (you may bring your own tools and glazes)*
**We do not offer outside firing**
All items must be made during open studio time in order for them to be fired, not at home or another studio
There is no instructor in open studio time, so please be prepared to work independently.
Ages 18 and up, or 13+ when accompanied by an adult. Teens will be charged the regular open studio rate.
There is no set firing schedule, however we usually do a firing every one to two weeks. We cannot be responsible for any undesirable results from firing, and cannot offer refunds for pieces.
